Female Portraits: Anya

Female Portraits: Anya

Another short notice one;

Short notice but any chance you could pop over tomorrow PM and get a few shots of Anya going off to her prom in the Bentley?

I told you? No pressure either.

A great setting and a lovely subject. As ever, next to no time, oh yes and as ever parents, relatives, onlookers stood to the side of me with a pesky iPhone.

When a young subject uses one of the shots as her Facebook profile image I guess we can call it a success, when her father uses one of the test shots as his Facebook profile image I guess we’re home and dry. Phew!

For the techies, although late afternoon the area was in the shade, ideally I would have used the Bowens flash but given the time constraints I settled for a bit of help from the SB-910 speedlights on stands. Nikon D800e and mostly 200mm from the 70-200 ƒ/2.8. I tried a mono conversion with a couple of the photos which I’m pleased with.
