So, some fun with Devon weather to end the week!
Ståle was looking for some informal headshots to communicate his practice based work.
We’d decided to shoot at the weekend when the building was quiet, and at a time when the ambient light would be good. And on the Saturday session that we had booked the weather initially really didn’t play fair. The site offered the possibility of shooting both in, and out of the room, but to start with, I was stood outside in the rain.
Then, Devon weather did what Devon weather does, changed many times a minute.
For speed, remote speedlights were used to lift the room lighting and offer a range of looks through lighting balance.
At the time, it felt challenging, but we’ve ended up with a good range and depth to the shots.
